For the longest time, I struggled to find my voice. I wasn't the loudest in the room, nor the one who turned heads effortlessly. Growing up, I watched the women around me, my friends, my sisters, the women in my neighbourhood, each so incredibly unique, yet often unseen. They had dreams, skills and personalities that deserved to shine, but somewhere along the way, life's expectations made them dim their light. They dressed for the world, but not always for themselves. I saw this, I felt this and at some point, I became one of them.
